I am also a fan of 1911 style pistols. I have a Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry, a few colts in .45 and a stainless 10MM Colt. As far as the Glocks go I just do not like them. I had one in 10MM, I forget the model # but I just do not like the safety or lack thereof.
The Glocks are great, reliable guns, just not my cup of tea. It's all a matter of personal preference.
