I have one of those and it works fine. You can adjust the water temperature somewhat if you like your coffee hotter or a little cooler. Once it ready to go it takes about 15 second or so to make an 8 Oz cup.

Of course it's a little more expensive to operate than using loose coffee. A pack of 18 cups runs $9 at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I also have their adapter to use loose coffee, but generally don't use it except for the occasional Celestial Seasonings tea bag.
