Not an answer to any of your questions,
but if you were to do a search here in the Massey forum I believe that everybody that has a 1533 wishes that they had spent the extra money and bought the 1540. Not that they are unhappy with the 33, just that the 7 extra
hp would be nice to have at times. If you are going with a gear tranny, again about everybody likes the 12x12 vs the 8x8.
Anyway that you go, they are one nice tractor.
Oh, if you can swing it, don't forget about the skid steer attach loader bucket and the rear remotes. Best to get those at time of the purchase.
You should really ask about all the different options that there are, again usually best to get them at the time of purchase. You never know what you might need in the future.
