I would crack the lines on the pump which it sounds you did, and check for fuel. Then if no fuel, and your mechanic buddy is okay with doing it, I would take the side of the pump apart and make sure the fuel rack is moving like it should. Maybe remove all the lines & clean them too.
Yeah, don't talk warranty with the dealer on this on unless you think the techs need a good laugh. Part of any operator responsibility is to check fluids daily and know whats going in the machine. |
