Robert, I believe most if not all economy models do not have a raised platform. Rather, you straddle the running gear and sit on a lower seat. They also use more sheet metal instead of fiberglass. Cruise control on
HST models is optional rather than standard. There is nothing lacking internally on the economy models, they just have a more Spartan or traditional appearance.
The most irritating thing about New Holland is the many numbers for the same model of tractor. There for awhile, it seemed like they "stirred their alphabet soup" as often as possible.
