Actually, an independant
PTO (has its own clutch in addition to the trans clutch) is the best rather than some
PTO that runs constantly (if that's what it means---ie. I guess that type actually turns the implement as you are starting the tractor). Independant can be started or stopped by itself and is not transmission dependant. Most all of the larger utility tractors have this type
