Yes, your are correct, there is a clock in it. It does not display until you turn the key, but the clock does keep time.

So you are saying that the problem is internal in the radio itself. Makes sense but it sure is odd that it happens at the same time every day for just a few minutes.

I still think it is the ghost of the miserable woman I bought this house from, but I can swap the radio out easy enough. I just don't want this to get to the point where it drains my battery
