Default Re: New Lighted TiltMeter

Sounds great Kenny. I have the old one, the 2-way but not lighted. I do a lot of work at night and often flip the cabin light on a sec to see my angle, but lights would be practical for me.

When I got mine a couple years ago, I had to pay the US/Cdn exchange plus the Cdn Customs plus tax(es) and so the unit cost me over a hundred bucks. I have a nice little chrome plated "car-marker-light" that I think I may install on the dash to light it up. I used the real good double sided tape supplied and it still holds very securely so thus far I don't need the bolts or screws.

I work a lot of steep angles,..(some 25 degrees) but I have 6" wheel spacers and loaded tires so pucker factor is reduced to "cautious", "carefull" and "slow" but the meter has paid for itself many times over.

Thanks for your report,
