Tractor
grillo 107d
Hi Everyone,
Im new to the forum and also new to tractors- walk-behind or otherwise.
My 107D, With the engine off and in neutral, doesnt want to move freely
at the wheels(mainly the rite side, but it will trade off to the left at times}
I checked the brakes and they seem to be releasing[although when i use
the tiller and brake to do a u-turn they sqeak something awful)it doesnt
effect it while running, but when i need to manouver this beast in my
small barn it
sure is a pain... Thanks in advance!!

Hi! First I think. The differential lock is On. Or brakes are on . But They are always some resistance for move because the worm in differential is always connected. The true neutral is between 2 and 3 . Good luck! Oldmech

Hi! I think. Your tractor is new. May be brakes are adjusted too tight. We adjust brakes with some drag for more braking effect as car drum brake. Personal I do not use brake for turn. so my tractor brake are adjusted soft less drag less braking more easy to pull or push.I use brake only for park. With time brake pad could be fit better and less drag. You know all two wheels tractor BCS Grillo Troy-Bilt with worm gear are hard to push or pull. Ratio are 1 to 16 24 32 . one rare is Grillo 131 this one can be free wheel. Good luck! Oldmech
