I'm tired of the homeowner type tillers.

I'm looking for a BCS tiller to do 2 main things.

1. I have currently have 1 acre that I plant
and
2. a 24 x 96 foot greenhouse.
which one of the BCs models would you recommend for both?
also...

I found a used bcs tiller model 710 with 8hp on it. about 10 years old? I'm not sure if it will do the job it's a 4 hour drive for me to get it.what do you think?

thanks

It has one speed each way and very poky slow in tiller direction. Every time you need to move 30 feet to be somewhere else, you ponder whether to turn the handlebars around. I'd look for something with speeds and enough power to run what you need. If you use 30 inch beds, you need enough power to turn a 30 inch tiller or power harrow. The Grillo 107d seems to be the best deal...

AS Bentleg says, the older 710 (they're making it again with 3 speeds) is the most basic model. It has one gear forward and reverse. Mostly, it was sold to rental places - less levers to pull. It's far better than about any "homeowner type tiller', and just as durable as its bigger brothers, but not nearly as useful.
