Gravely 5260 will run great for almost an hour then its starts bogging down like it is starving for fuel and will finally die. It doesn't back fire. Could this be carburetor or a coil and points issue? It has the Kohler 8 hp engine.

I can let it cool down for a 1/2 hour then it runs great.

Don't know Gravely's but try loosening the fuel cap just a little, could be the vent is plugged.

When it starts to screw up, choke it a little, and see if it starts to run better.. This should tell you if it's fuel or electrical related.

It done it again - It started boging again. I pulled the choke and it didn't die so I guess it is fuel problems. Probably need fuel lines and carb rebuild.

Could there be a vapor lock issue? Just a thought...
