Its 14 hp Vanguard can likely be made to run for less than $100.

Somebody on this board should run and get it this morning! This is an obvious case where the owner (likely an estate heir) does not know the street value ($2000) of this tractor and tiller.

That sure is a good deal. I recently picked up a 850 with 30" tiller and 45" sickle bar and I thought I got a good deal ( $1000 ), but this deal appears even better! To bad I live in the south east.

It's sold. Did anyone here get it? I e-mailed the link to my brother-in-law in Boston, but he decided against calling on it. My other B-I-L in the Utica area probably would have been all over it, but my sister would not have forgiven me if I sprung that on him...

I paid $400 for my 830 with a tiller and brush hog but it needed about $300 in transmission work - so I got $700 in mine total. It does need a carb rebuild.
