I put a hyd winch in my loader frame. I can't imagine having a tractor without one. I also have a mod 9 gearmatic that is pto driven. I have absolutely no problem yarding 2' logs that are 40 ft long. I did build some winches in the 80's that were pto driven 3pt units. The people I sold them to have been happy with them.
