Rowski, I brought a Lucknow snow blower 12 years ago. I hope they have improved since then. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
1) they had a plastic shoe to take up the slack on the gatherer chain. That was replaced with an idler gear within months.
2) the chute rotational flange froze up- 4 grease zerts tapped in fixed that.
3) I had to weld a couple short sections of pipe so the cable to rotate the chute would roll-up on the crank smoothly.
4) The gear box drainage plug threads stripped out and I run grease with a little STP in it now. It looks like the casting is very poor quality.
5) it will only throw the snow 15' because the fan has too much of a gap ad has only 3 blades and the bottom of the circular chamber wore through with gravil ( that was before I learned to get a 1-2" hard pack established) I fixed that. It helps to wax the inside of the chute.
All in all it was my poorest quality implement and taught me a lesson [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]
