OK, I checked in with the dealer and Mahindra has a seat upgrade available - dealer cost is $275, he wants $350 for it
including shipping.
Seat is a high back, has folding arm-rests, tilting seat-back, slide adjustable position (front-to-back) and adjustable gas shocks for set suspension (up/down).
includes a set belt too, I think.
After filling the rear tires with anti-freeze and water the ride is a little softer but my back took a pounding with the stock seat. Going to get the seat this week and may post the results next week if all goes well.
I think this is a very worthwhile upgrade.
