Default Re: Kubota dealer doesn\'t carry Kubota UDT!

Billy, that is the most part of it but there is more to it yet. People don't know the difference and yes chances are the dealer makes more profit. There are differences in oil.. IH tested there formula to 3000 hours with no oil changes on there diesel oil and 1500 hours for gas engines, both tests were done at full throttle and full load!!!! I haven't seen a oil can that doesn't say it doesn't meet there spec's. I never heard of another company doing what they did and I know for a fact that the SAE test doesn't come close to one tenth that test. Do I like IH oils for engines yes and I recommend it for all engines. Do hydraulics need special oil to, yes. We do sell Super UDT for the newer Kubotas and we also sell hytran plus which will absorb more condinsation than any hydraulic oil I've seen as well as it is only built on a basic ten weight which is great for this cold area. Every oil man says there product is just as good as the next!!! Not so!!! Talk to people that work on engines and they all have a sucess story as well as witnessed premature failures. We do have some oil here that sells for 20 dollars for a five gallon pail for those that like to trade price for longevity!! It helps keep our parts dept and shop going.
