I live in a very sandy area and we have "sand flies" I think they are the same as gnats. They can be very bothersome and sometimes bite my ears. I've lived with them for years. This year something crazy has happened, there are dragonflies everywhere, I mean TONS and TONS of dragonflies. My gnat problem has been non existant because of it. Now, I'm not sure how one goes about populating your area with dragonflies, but if you can figure out a way you're in business!
