Highbeam,

Just FYI, my BH bucket was only 12" and thats what I stuck with. I thought about over digging to get a wider trench but I thought with only one 4" pipe a 12" trench would be enough. Dad and I have used a trencher before for the same type of project at his house that had only 6" wide width and had good results.

After the majority of the project was done, we had aprox. 2" of rain the next afternoon. None of the runoff from the hill made it past the area of the trench.
