Re: Red Line Oils- why they\'re better
Thanks Tom for the gracious offer, but I did break the bank and I do have Red Line racing oil in the one I was talking about; a '62 Biscayne. I have 2 other '60's Chevy hot rods too, and I don't have it in them yet though. One has a small block though ('67 Camaro), and I think I'm going to put the 725 hp 572ci GM crate engine in it. I'm trying to get the cooling issue addressed on that first. It may not work the way I want it. I put Vintage Air in my hot rods because I don't think it's cool for me to show up at cruise ins and car shows all sweaty. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
If I get a magazine feature on one of them (the Biscayne), maybe I'll call Red Line and see if they will give me a break on the price of their products if I mention their product in the article. But, the photo shoot and article particulars are all still up in the air.
