Re: hours
You haven't had alot of response to your question but there are alot of threads on reliability for Mahindra here, just have to search them good. I had some issues with my Mahindra about this time last year - you can look them up and see what I had going with mine and some responders' as well(4110 - broken bolts). Mahindra finally helped me resolve my problems and I'm still happy with them. My 4110 now has just shy of 1100 hours on the clock, many of them were commercial use, and overall it is one workhorse. Once you get to know your tractor's limitations & abilities you'll be able to do much much more than you would ever think you could do with this tractor!! Mine is an earlier production - built in 2001 and I put it in service Feb. 2002, it was built by TYM. My original loader had a 5' bucket, I now have the quick attach and a 6' bucket - like the newer 4110's I've seen on the lots. I also have the new style adjustable seat, a huge improvement over the original. I still have an occasional front axle snap in mine when the digging really gets rough but other than that no other problems. I can change an axle out in about 30 minutes and they are around $45 - I keep 2 spares on hand. Don't know if they ever fixed this problem on the later models - they had the differential gear ratios off too much for the industrial tires and will snap front axles. The Mahindra tech rep had told me to run my rear tires very low on air pressure and my front ones as high as rated to help with this - changing the diameter of the tires slightly to offset the mismatch in gear ratios. The engine on my tractor has been fantastic, has always started well and run very well, not a single leak or any problems whatsoever, uses no oil between changes. I would buy another 4110 if the situation came up. Good luck with yours !!!
