Default Hott August Haying

Here are some pics of some haying we did last week. It has gotten very hot,dry and dusty. The new Montana T7074 is on the rake here. The wife thought that since it was 103 in the shade(and there wasn't any shade) and that there is a large hive of bumble bees in this field that she wanted in the cab rig instead of on an open tractor. I did have to admit that those where about the most agressive bumble bees that I had ever seen. They where literally bounce of the tractor cab windows while we where mowing. That is a MF 5455 on a MF 2746A baler. We are turning out full 6' bales of native prairie grass hay. There also a couple of pics of the monitor showing the wrap cycle and while filling the bale chamber.

Here is one more of the baler in the middle of the bale ejection cycle.

Good pics. Where in OK? I like the net wrap. Wish my hay guys would use it. I lease mine out at the moment. Sometimes help with getting it in. They have some to bale today. Probably 15 acres that is cut. It was thick so I estimate 110 roles at least. 5x4's with vermeer rebel 5410.
