I bought this old 14' wheel disk today at a auction today, im not sure if it is a John Deere or not. The rear gangs float from side to side. I would appreciate any info that you guys may have.

:welcome:

Looks the right color. :)
If JD, I'd expect you would have a s/n plate as well as the JD trademark on the castings.

A chance to look for either one?

I havn't had a chance to look it over real good yet, just bought it because it sold real cheep. I did see any markings on it, any chance it could be a Oliver? The wheels are white not yellow.

I'd suggest looking at it closer.
The wheels may just be replacement rims at some point along the way.
Can't see any wheels in the pic.

When you have a chance to look it over, we'd like to know what it is. :)

As long as it doesn't rain anymore I will get it home in the next couple of days.

I had one similiar.
Its probably made by oliver and sold by deere.
a lot of planters and disk from that decade were that way.
Great when new and in good condition.
Good for finishing when you but blades on it.
Brand is not important those blades are all about the same.
