Does any one here have much experience with the hesston line of baler the 7210 is essentially the 4570. What I'm used to is a massey 124 that's had over half a million through it and still runs. I just have some questions on the knotters and the actual speed the machine should be run at. I'm quite used to the massey knotters which I'm told is quite a feat, apparently they are unlike any other knotter. I've worked behind many a NH baler just never had to fool with the knotters. Both the NH and Massey seem to like to be run about 100 pto rpm slower than rated I notice a lot less missed twine if you throttle back 2 or 300 engine rpm. Has any one else noticed this or does any one know if the hesstons are the same way. Also are there any tips or tricks about the hesston knotter that make life easier or is it exactly like the book says?
