RNF et al,
Here's some cyberpaper of interest. My good friend and DS Staffer
T.J. Royal recaps yesterday's Edgecombe County Superior Court happenings and how the legal guillotine looms large for Textron Financial's past sins of bullying, inventory fabrications and product hyperloading.
Former Farmtrac CFO Alton Cobb emerged as one of the day's heros with testimony that demonstrated TFC's knowledge and inducement of actions that harmed the 270-plus dealer network across the U.S. and subsequently cost the 180-person Tarboro workforce their jobs.
Sources reported that during an aside, the rugged, leather-sporting Cobb offered to throw his full support behind retailers -- inviting the opportunity to testify in future legal proceeding.
The case was in process at the close of business Wednesday.
