Default Farm Trac Parts

I had accident with my 555 DTC and required several parts to repair. They had them all no problems fast service and repaired ready to go!! So if you are worried about buying one of those fine machines because of parts issues don't. I would buy one again tomorrow if I needed one and still may do so it one comes up for sale close by.

The guy that I bought my tractor from. Former F/T Dealer don't know if he has Montana or not. Ordered parts on Monday recieved them on Wednesday. Axle housing gaskets shims Seals PTO Shaft etc etc. Just wanted to let folks know not to be afraid of not being able to get parts for their Tractors. I love the 555 DTC I have a 2wd 555 as well but for the money the 4wd is the way to go.

It is nice to know that your parts were so readily available. I have a 675DTC and so far have not needed any parts. I like this tractor and look forward to many years of service out of it.

Glad you have a former FT dealer in your area that can/will order FT parts. Some of us FT owners aren't so lucky.

Not giving names but the former dealers around me tell me on the phone they no longer can get parts BUT a coulple of them on this web like to claim they can/will.

Agree the FT's are a good tractor but FT isn't concerned about parts availability for owners. For that reason I wouldn't buy another nor would I recommend them.

Just speaking as a owner.

Jigbuilder, have you tried the Montana dealers? I was under the interpretation that when they bought what was left of FT that they were going to supply parts to FT owners. I have only needed a couple of small items and was fortunate enough to be able to get them from a former FT dealer.

The FT 555/ FT 60 is a Escorts made tractor. Yeah, I heard Montana would supply those parts but the MT dealers around here say they don't handle Escorts made tractors or their parts. As has been said before many newer tractor dealers just want to sell new tractors and warranty/parts for them.

I saw that Montana had re-badged some of FT's that I know were Escort made and were calling them Montana Limited I believe, so I assumed they were handling parts, sorry about your luck, I guess limited means limited parts from them anyhow. Do any of you guys know who is building the CUT's for Montana now? I heard that they were merging with Branson, but I have'nt seen any of them yet.

Hi, it's good to hear that some parts are available. I assumed that some would be available from NH (for those Farmtracs that were built on the old Ford XX10 platform). On a related note I'm interested in a Landtrac 530dtc (2001) and was wondering if parts were available for it. It was made by LG (LS now I believe). Also does anyone have an option of them. It's a nice looking travtor with a little under 2000 hours (easy ones from the look of things). Thanks

Although I don't have a FarmTrac these guys are FarmTrac dealers about four miles down the road from me. I used to buy stuff for my 1964 MF135 from them. If they don't have it they can sure find it. robertstractor.com in Camden, OH.
