I purchased this DA 5230 back in March with a 5' bushhog and 5' grader blade for $3200. I have been surprised and impressed with it so far. It has turned out to be quite the workhorse. I also purchased an old timey but well built tandem 5' disc (16 discs) from a neighbor for $475. Added and a middlebuster and quickhitch. My dad and I made a top for the tractor out of some angle iron scraps and a couple pieces of tin that can be easily removed by one person. We also mounted an ammo box behind the stack for a waterproof toolbox. We also made a little digger attachment that bolts onto the middlebuster for digging water lines and small ditches. We put it to use over the weekend digging footers for a house pad. I do have one question about the tractor. There is a switch under the pto lever that is unhooked and we cant find the other end to where it was plugged into. We did test it to see if the switch worked and it turns something on when the pto is off but dont know what. Everything else seems hooked up. I took a pic of the switch in one of the attached pics. I would like to get a hold of a manual for the tractor but I cant find hardly any information about it. If anyone has one to share or could tell me a little about it. Anyway tell me what you think of the tractor. Thanks.

That wire is for the pto to let you know that it is on are off.It could hook to a light to let you know. Are they disconnect because it would'nt let the tractor to start.
