Default 1959 Ford 871 Transmission problem

My 59 Ford 871 with Select-O-Speed transmission no longer shifts into gears five thru eight. Anyone have any suggestions before I start adjusting all of the bands?

instead of posting in 'other brands'.. you might have posted in the ford section.

If it also goes to neutral in park, then look at band 2 , may not be applying.

here is a WONDERFULL SOS troubleshooting page by a guy named John Smith. Real nice guy.. real s,art guy.. great with fords.
