I'd like the PTO sprayer also, but I'm not seen a single 55 gallon unit that is PTO driven. They all seem to be electric pump.

Have you checked out Crop Care sprayers? (Used to be Paul Zimmerman). They have a 55 gal PTO unit and they make an excellent sprayer. Many farmers in this area use them and they are made right here in good ole Pa.

I just bought a fimco 40 gal sprayer and I think it is a piece of junk. the thing leaks every where, the gauge filled up with water first thing, I could sweat out more liquid than it will spray. Maybe I got a lemon but it was the second 2 1/2 hr ride to get it and that doesn't help to impress me either. They advertise it to be made in the USA but the pump says china! I know I'm rantin & raving cause I just came in from messing with it so I'm still a little warm.

First of all, the gauge is a water filled gauge. It didn't fill with water, it came that way! My sprayer leaked when I got it too. The hose clamps need to tightened up. After I did that, it's been fine. I get a great spray pattern, doesn't leak and works as advertised.

I'll bet your gauge is a glycerin filled gauge as glycerin dampens better than water. My sprayer arrived with a dry gauge, which I'll change to a liquid filled gauge on a future McMaster-Carr order.

I stand corrected, thanks. The box said "fluid-filled" and I just assumed...well you know the rest of the story.
