Tractor
Kioti DK55C
Hi all,

I'm having trouble finding out if my tractor (Kioti DK55C) has a "universal" quick change bucket. I've tried to find info on pallet forks from 2 different companies and sent them photos but they aren't sure. Hopefully the photos will link properly. What other tractors have this same type of bucket disconnect?

You should be able to click the thumbnails for a larger picture.

Thanks in advance!
Dan

Not sure... But it don't look that complicated. I have a bush hog FEL and it has the quick disconnect (different than yours). I had a old back blade that I modified to a bulldozer blade.

I removed the 3 point part of the blade and copied the pattern of the bucket so it connects just like the bucket. It doesn't look very difficult to copy what is on your bucket. I would look for a good deal on a used pallet fork and just modify it to fit your FEL disconnect.

Dan, from what I can see it is not what I think of as the “universal quick connect” that was introduced by Bob Cat for their skid steers and now adapted to other equipment. It looks as if when the bucket on yours is disconnected there remains a solid plate between the FEL arms that hooks to a lip on the upper part of the bucket. With the Bob Cat system there is a separate plate that remains on the end of each FEL arm and hooks into individual pockets on the back of the bucket.

Post a question in the Koiti forum. I am sure those guys will know the system and offer some guidance. By the way, welcome to the forum.

It looks similar - but with an extra mechanism to make it only one lever to operate.

Here is a thread with the skid steer spec - you should be able to measue & determine then. universal mount spec

Also - A pic with the bucket off showing both halves would help.
