I was curious if anyone else has attended the show in Louisville. I stopped by the tilt meter booth and they mentioned one TBN'er had stopped by. It was overwhelming - I atually got tired of looking at tractor equipment. Didn't see anything I had to have. The JD TLB was there. Maybe someday the faithful TBN group can have a show or swap meet or something dedicated for compacts. I kind of loose interest when everything is too large or I don't have enough HP or it is Cat II etc etc etc.

Needless to say I am ready for the first annual compact tractor show - who's house will it be at - my wife makes a great nacho dip.........

Hi Eric,
Glad to see you at the Louisville Show. We had a great show.
Those people really know how to put on a show. We sold out
of tiltmeters the first day, and had to have more sent by u.p.s.
next day air.
I finally got to meet Mark Chalkley. What a super guy !!!
I am trying to get him to help us sell / market our tiltmeters.
What an asset to us if we can. That boy knows his stuff
when it comes to equipment. (and he loves HOT sauce on
his nachos.) The mild sauce was too hot for me. Anyway, we
had a great show. Good to be home. Rick

I went on Saturday and I agree that it is more ag stuff than you care to see.
I was meaning to stop by R&B's booth but the wife was ready to go.
The place was packed with people and I got tired of the crowd quickly.

Did anyone else see the prototype Massey compact? Pretty cool, about the size of a BX but with 23hp. The one they had there had a loader, hydro, 4wd, mmm, no mention of price.

I did not see any JD compacts there at all, I believe Kubota had the most tractors of all there.

Overall I really enjoyed myself, I think my wife did too.
I will try and scan some pictures when we get them developed, however they will include my 14 month old son as that was the only way I could get my wife to take pictures of tractors.

Rick - Thanks for the kind words! It was great to finally get to meet you and Brenda, too!

I really enjoyed the show. There was a lot more to see than I could in the 2 days I was able to stay, that's for sure.

As you know by now, but for the benefit of everybody else, I have decided to do some marketing for R&B. I've sort of been doing it for a couple years now, anyway, so it's a natural fit. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I especially hope I can make a dent in the OEM and dealer markets for Tiltmeters. I'm sure going to give it a go - we'll see what happens.

And as you also know, but for purposes of "baiting" everyone else, we've got a really slick product of a totally different sort in the works, if the engineering/design process doesn't prove too difficult. We'll keep everyone posted on that, when it becomes time. I think it'll be a big hit, especially since several people came up to the booth asking if R&B had one, without having any idea we were already working on it. I know I sure want one! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

As you said, it's good to be home. I just got to this thread - I don't know if I'll ever catch up on all the posts! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif
