I have a crome-plated left handed metric cresant wrench

I got out of pro-wrenching in the middle 60's and I'm waaay behind on this topic, do these Crescent wrenches work on zinc plated bolts, metric left handed thread only. If I have to now have one for each, I can see why the Snap-On truck is getting so big.:D

And you can do that in metric? heheehe....

Actually because of where I live I can most of the time get the metric right. There are a lot of wrenches and sizes, but some are just much more common than others. 10, 13, 14, 17, 19 will cover most things. You work with them enough and you just get used to what the sizes look like. I do not know how else to explain it.

Besides that, I am not sure that it is not easier to just get used to the size than trying to remember the color for 19 mm. Now was that light or dark grey?

do you want the purple wrench with the pink stripe or the pink wrench with the purple stripe? No thanks I will stick with chrome, grease, ink and dirt colored wrenches. I can judge metrics pretty close 10,13 and 17 are used alot in my printing machines and a 13 is the same size as a 1/2" real wrench.
