When we built our house, the first thing was honey, can I buy a tractor? Then it was honey, can I build a garage? Then it was honey, I need torchs, welder and tools for the barn? It never ends.

Thanks for the compliments. I have a second set of loader forks I am trying to sell, but no takers. These are a bigger set that I learned from using and making. They are just too big and heavy for my lil 4100, so thats why I made the set I posted about, they fit the tractor better. If interested, check classifieds.

If anyone wants better pictures or more info on my projects, feel free to shoot me an email!!

Cdash, great post with pictures. However I have a complaint; when an offsite is used for pictures, my email/url is exposed to an onslaught of junk mail. Immediately after viewing those wonderful photos I've got ads for gambling, debt consolidation, job want ads and the site itself. That's so far...!
Muhammad provides a 1st class venue for photos that are, more or less, available forever and future reference. I know advertising is part of the good ole USA but leaving the spigot open will inundate you.

Rch,

Unless you entered your email address somewhere, I don't see how visiting a web site would cause you to get junk mail. I went to that site a couple of times and got no junk mail. Maybe the visit and the junk mail are unrelated.

Andy, I somewhat mispoke, it doesn't come to my email box. It shows up intrusively on the web as I'm, for example, browsing TBN. You may be right about just visiting a site is not enough for the site to be able to send you an ad. However, because of cookies and e-businesses such as DoubleClick there is a way to identify who accesses a site. This info is sold so E-marketers can "selectively" send ads by noting the interests of who was browsing. Maybe I don't understand how this exactly works and the ads I got were coincidental as you noted.

Nice job on those forks! I haven't gotten any of the projects that have been planned finished yet because it got cold all of the sudden (40 below with wind chill) and I don't want to be out in the shop! I plan on building a subsoiler, three row rowcrop cultivator, two diferent sprayers, one with the tank on the front of the tractor for foliar spraying while cultivating rowcrop, and one three point type sprayer, a three point field cultivator blade, three point harrow and a raised bed machine (makes raised beds). I guess I will need to spend quite a bit of time this spring in the shop, and a lot of money in welding wire and gas as well as torch gas, but I really like building things myself and the price for all of these things would be prohibitive if I bought ready made. After seeing your loader forks I found a whole lot of reasons to have some so have added them to my long "to do" list. Christopher

I apologize for that!! I wasn't aware that you could actually upload pictures. Most places I visit, you have to have them on a website elsewhere, which is why I posted the link. To my amazement, this place will host pictures. I will "do it right" next time.

Craig, Andy. The ads( gambling, debt consolidation, jobs) that popped up may have been down- loaded to the background with another site I had visited (The New York Times) shortly before looking at your pictures. There is a tehnique in programing called "scripting" where new pages pop-up as you cancel the page that is being viewed. Pornographers use it to flood the screen as you try to cancel them. It looks like advertisers have adopted this. So, I think Andy was right, the barrage of ads was not from your picture site. It was from previous sites I had visited and were 'lurking' in the background.
At any rate welcome to TBN and "Go Blue"( my alma matar)
