I went with a Bushhog on my b8200 kubota.

I got it because the shop was within tractor driving distance/ The price was competitive with othe brands, including Kubota. The shop I work with is really good, which was a deciding factor too.

I looked into the factory loader, but would have had to rented a trailer twice, drove the thing an hour away twice, and would have that same issue if there was ever a problem.

It has the quick disconnect, but I have no reason to remove it.

I have a Woods 1006 on my B7500. Dealer recommendation.
He likes the Woods better than the 'Bota loaders, a big stronger and a little lower cost.
I ain't used a 'Bota loader so I can't compare them, but I know the 'Bota loaders would do whatever you asked it to do within weight limits, as it is designed.

Thanks for all the responses! I didn't realize that "lift and curl" at the same time could be an issue. Also, as far as color goes it doesn't have to be the same for me, but I didn't think about resale. I'll have to be careful on that one if I buy a NH, since my Boomer is the older light blue and a new loader would probably be the newer dark blue. It would probably look worse to be slightly off color than it would if it was a different neutral color. I also need to check where the controls mount. One of the reasons I bought the TC29D was because of it's ease of getting on and off from either side. Now that I have some ideas of what to look for I need to shop around and do some pricing. Thanks again.

I priced a Woods model 1012 quick attach loader with a 60" bucket and they told me $3555 installed with controls. The color would match the tractor OEM color. If I install it myself it would knock off about $300. That's $1000 less than the NH dealer told me for the 7308. I would probably rather go with the NH controls though, since they're more out of the way. The cost would be about the same. I also priced a Great Bend at the same dealer and it's $160 less. They can also match the OEM color. I still need to check on whether the controls will do it lift and curl at the same time.

I have a question for John_Mc or anyone else that has a Woods 1012 loader with the Woods controls. When the loader is detached, do the controls come off with the loader or stay on the tractor? Thanks.

I have a Bush Hog 2245 on a 7234 Cub. I got it from the dealer when I bought the Cub new and as I remember it was about $900 cheaper than the Cub Loader. The BH seems to be a good rugged loader although the color match was not real good to the tractor. The loader is kind of a mustard yellow next to the Cub Yellow. The controls mount on the frame on the right side but when delivered almost totally blocked getting on and off the right side of the tractor. I have read if I ever went for a belly mount mower it might not fit with the aftermarket type loader. I haven't had the loader off but I believe the control stays with the loader.

Danny - The controls for the Woods 1012 loader I have on my NH TC33D stay with the tractor when the loader is removed. I assume this is th esame regardless of what type of tractor you mount it on, but I'm not sure.
