I would like to add a tool box to my 2520. Does anyone know of a source that manufatures boxes for tractors?

Not sure if they actually MANUFACTURE the box that they sell, but try the same folks who built your tractor. I've got JD tool boxes on just about every tractor I own, including my Deere's.

If you have an Army/Navy store near you, they have a lot of metal ammo boxes of different sizes, you might be able to adapt one of those to fit your needs.

JD boxes are expensive but they have brackets that fit all of their individual tractors. I bought one for my buddys 5205 and it was around $100.00 with shipping

I purchased my ammo box for $5 plus tax, paint was about $4.

Didn't know Deere made boxes to fit individual tractors -

Could you share where you got it (on-line hopefully)?

I modified a Deere Tool Box to fit my 2520 - search toolbox added to 2520 for pictures and details of what I did if interested. I included one pic on this post. Good Luck, Brad

Northern tool has a large selection of toolboxes in just about every size.

Since it's on a tractor and used outdoors all the time, have you considered a plastic fishing tackle box? Every time I think about my toolbox that came on my tractor, I think that it's just a small tackle box and I should upgrade it with a bigger tackle box from Walmart.
