Has anyone ever made or seen a rig for hooking your Three Point Hitch attachments to the FEL. I was thinking with the easy hitch systems you don't need arms to open up to get over pins, you can just drive straight in.
I was thinking of using my back blade with shoes for a front-end snow plow, and my rake & back blade to get on the hi spots and being able to apply down force.

I want to do the exact same thing and maybe even put the carry-all on as a "man lift" and a boom pole would work great on front also. I'm thinking of welding up a frame to adapt a Harbor Freight quick hitch to my JD bucket mounts. It's on my to do list but a lot of other things are ahead of it.:D

As far as Mighty-Dodge's ideas about the boom pole, that's been done and written about on TBN (look in the Customization forum...go back a few months). Folks here have used the FEL for man-lifts...I think that was in the safety forum.

CUTs with a mid-pto could probably be modified to run at least some driven implements (you can already get front snow blowers and brooms) and I see no reason a guy handy with fabrication couldn't come up with some way to rig a finishing mower up front...maybe even a tiller. You can already get plows (rather then modify a rear blade). I'd suggest these implements would be installed with the loader off for maximum strength and to keep the PTO drive shaft to a reasonable length,
You folks want to look in the Power Trac and Toolcat forums too as those machines use front implements.

Thanks for the reply, but I didn't plan to modify any of the attachments, that would be the best part and would save money, and keep the rust off it in the winter time. ;)Turning the back blade 180 degrees and still getting an angle to divert the snow seems better than using the bucket.

Look at this setup from Skid Steer Solutions. A couple of Pats easy change brackets and a bracket for the top link welded/bolted to a quick attach plate. If your FEL doesn't have skid steer quick attach you could make a similar plate adaptor for your FEL attachment setup.

with ground engaugeing implements mounted to the front of an FEL, you might find to be more than a bit stressful on the FEL arms = bent FEL arms.

It is...

My back blade (which is probably older then I am) won't rotate 180°, so I either push with the convex side or keep the blade slighty off the ground and drive forward. The FEL bucket does come in handy for back dragging from close to the garage doors and such. Also, the loader is great for moving snow piles during one of our infrequent blizzards here in PA.

But, the original questions were about rigging implements normally used on the 3PH to the front of the tractor. That's what I commented on.
