Default Bradco #611 backhoe

Looking for someone who owns a Bradco #611 backhoe. I presently own a JD4600 with a Woods 9000 backhoe but looking for something with more power and faster wooking hoe. What tractors will this backhoe mount on, not 3 point hitch mount, and how fsat does it work? I have tried a kubota L48 TLB and was very impressed with the backhoe but the tractor loader part has me looking for a different way to get a faster more powerful hoe.

I have a bradco 611 mounted on a kubota 3710. The combination is not recommended by bradco for that size of tractor. Great backhoe. Recommened hydraulic gpm is 10-12. Very nice mounting system. Mounting plates are very rigid and heavy duty. Yours may differ considerably but overall it will have similar 4 point mounting plate. The 611 may be recommended for your size of tractor but I doubt it. I also have a JD 5300 (54hp) and it is recommended for that tractor. Call bradco at 800-922 2981 and they will tell you if they feel it is compatible. They will even fax you pictures of the mounting plates, pto pump (if desired) and power beyond kits. I run mine off the tractor hydraulics (7.8 gpm) and it seems a little slow at times. 10-12 gal/min output is probably ideal. I am considering a pto pump.
The woods 9000 is a fairly large backhoe for compact tractors. I dont know the specs for woods but is the 611 worth the additional cost for the increase in power? I have to admit, at times I still wish I had more curl and dipper power.

Bradco has a good reputation for quality backhoes. They cost more, but they are made better too. On my 11HD, they did a good job on things like jacketing of hoses, grommets where hoses pass through steel plates, recessed protected grease fittings, adjustable swing speed, ball-socket cylinder mounts and compact fit of the subframe.

For a few years, kubota offered a model L5412 backhoe - which was really a Bradco 11HD (this model later became the 611) For Kubota to put their name on somebody else's product it would have to be decent.

If you are concerned about speed, consider an external hydraulic pump with more output gpm than the JD4600's internal pump. Bradco should be able to advise you on this. The 611 has big cylinders, and may need 12 to 15 gpm to feel as quick as the L48 hoe (which uses 2 pumps). Hope this is useful - DickB

Went to my New Holland dealer today to look for a tractor to use with the Bradco 611 hoe. New Holland TN65S looks like what I need. Standard hyd. pump is rated at 12.4 gal. but they offer a option of a 16.9 gal. pump. Need to call Bradco to see if they offer a mounting frame for this tractor. Any info on TN65 with Bradco hoe mounting?

Compared to the JD4600, the TN65 would be a better weight match for the 611, especially with front tires filled. The hoe weighs a little over a ton - so for comfortable balance the tractor needs some forward mass.

The big 16.9 gpm pump would be great - you could let the engine loaf at 1800 and still get about 12 gpm - with more available at higher rpm for those times you want it.

This is sounding like some serious checkbook damage

I have to sell JD4600 with woods 9000 backhoe, 24" & 12" buckets, 460 front loader with heavy duty bucket and set of fork lift tines berfore I can move up. Have not priced out the Bradco # 611 backhoe yet but have seen prices for TN65 posted on this site and they look pretty good. Does anyone what Bradco #611 sells for?
