Kubota Quick Attach/BOBCAT Skid Steer Pallet Forks??
I searched but can't find the answer...)
I am debating whether to buy a set of Bradco pallet forks for my kubota LA854 FEL with Quick Attach. A friend has a set of BOBCAT pallet forks he has offered to give me.
The dealer says that he isn't sure the BOBCAT forks will fit since they are about 10 years old. I haven't taken delivery yet, so I can't just hook them up. The dealer is a distance from me, so I can't take them and check.
Does anyone know about this? Is he just trying to sell forks? Obviously, free is better than ~$750 if the Bobcat forks will work.
Thanks in advance.Desire makes a way; lack of desire makes an excuse.

Re: Kubota Quick Attach/BOBCAT Skid Steer Pallet Forks??
Well I suppose that BobCat could have changed the configuration of their QA plate in ten years but I’d be surprised. Isn’t BobCat the company that first developed what we now call the universal QA configuration? I am running BobCat brand forks on my 2 year old kubota QA system and they work just fine. Actually I am running a BobCat bucket rather than a Kubota one also.
If you can get your friend to take some measurement of the attachment points on the forks I would be glad to measure mine so you could compare them. Just send me a PM so I don’t miss the request. For that matter even if they are different you can buy the QA attachment plates for about $125 to weld to the free forks. That would be much cheaper than a new set.
