price on a used Rhino SE5

I found a used rhino SE5 a guy has for $475.00.
He's had it for 7 years, no rust and looks pretty good.
blades and carrier pan all looks OK. I search around and found some
new ones for about $1200.

Does $475 seem like a good price??


Plus my wife's birthday is coming up and I thought I'd buy me something.

Seems like an great price, especially if it has a slip clutch. A new Rhino 160 would cost around $1200.

Seems good to me. I have one that I bought barely used for $800. I did not think they cost $1200 new (thought it was lower).

I see that you checked out the condition of the blades and carrier pan. I think mine must be getting pretty banged up because my mowing doesn't look as good this year.. I am always hitting rocks even though I operate with the loader low to act as a cattleguard.
