Greg H - Have you purchased them yet? They are extremely useful - had I known how much so, I'd have gotten them a lot sooner.
One enhancement I made to mine that you might find useful (you know I can't leave anything alone): I took a shackle, and put a pulley on the shaft. My friend with the metal lathe made a couple spacers to keep it centered, and welded a plate across the throat to keep the cable on the tongs in the groove in the pulley. With it, the cable has a nice round surface to pull against and the chain hook can pull against the shackle. I think the cable will last longer that way and it's a little easier handle the chain hookup, too.
