Tractor
Few John Deere's and one Ford 3600 diesel.
still trying to get in order what all i will NEED on my tractor when i decide to buy. with that said, i've heard mention of rear mount SVC's on tractors by some as a MUST. i have read that the new 5003 JD series comes standard with at least one, i think? my question is, what sort of implements require the use of a rear SVC and would they take one or two? this is a general question for any make of tractor really, i just wasnt sure what all rear SVC's were used for and was curious. finding this information out will help me decide if i need one(if its an option) or if i should add an extra one(if the tractor happens to come standard with one). im thinking hay balers run off of these but wasnt sure what else. im looking to buy between 50-65(engine hp).

Depending on what you do, and how expensive it is to order a pair of them, I would consider it a good investment. I don't have anything that uses two, but give me time and i will figure out a way to use both of them on my JD. I am really going to have to get imaginative to use all three on my Ford. I mainly use my tractors for mowing, which isn't a big deal as an attachment.
From what I hear, getting them installed new beats retro hands down.

I had one put on my 5203 and may wish I had at least two. Bought a rear blade which required one. Have been browsing the hydraulic PHD sites--all of them require SCV--one I looked at took three as I recollect. Also looked at scrapers which require one.
