I got to use the post hole digger this weekend. We started a pole garage for my daughter and son-in-law. Worked great, hydraulic is the only way to go.

Did you run that off the remotes on your tractor or did it come with a hydraulic power-pack?

I run it off the remote. Also it's rated 10 to 15 GPM, but so far it works good on the L3130.

I can't tell what's going on in the pictures since they're so big!:(

Your lucky to have that kind of soil. I don't see a rock in it. With a auger that size at my place, the tractor would be twisted into a pretzel in 15 seconds.

I've done one 18" x 4' in hard pan full of roots, did ok.

Nice pics.

The High-Flow probably makes a big difference. I have Rhino low-flow hydraulic PHD and it has been hard work drilling most holes for horse fence.

1. Lots of rocks (it is the Rocky Mountains after all)
2. Hard clay in some areas.

One thing that made a huge difference was the teeth. When I replaced the stock teeth I got carbide teeth that cut noticeably better and are showing a lot less wear.

Wish I had the flowrate for the high-flow unit.
