Tiller tines arrived at the dealer from Long today. They are shipping them (70 miles) and 40# to my door. Total price $150 for 32 new tines.

Probably could have saved $150 if I had adjusted the slip clutch before I started /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif.

Glad that it was not a gearbox or chain /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

Thanks for sharing your solution. My Woods GT52 tiller has stalled my B2400 several times when rocks jammed it. I've been wondering why the clutch never seemed to slip. Guess its time to get out the wrenches.

Hmmmm...

The new tines are square. The old tines were worn pretty good. It has 16 left hand and 16 right hand. There are several missing nuts and they were all double nutted. The nuts look like they are fine metric. Sure wish I had some metric nuts. Tractor supply has 1/2 in 20 nuts and bolts...guess that is what it gets. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
