Don't you have to build the Metkits?
They give you the plans and such, you put it together.

I think its so close, it may be the same.
Which bh is yours? The first one off the tractor or the second one.
I just picked the unit up today and it may be a while before I can give any opinion. It's Lime Green and I'm going to see if I can have a friend paint it Ford Blue before I put it together. And yes it is Chinese. I'm wondering if I should test the paint for lead.

If the hydraulics is the problem, could I just slowly replace the cylinders over time, as well has the controls. Especially if I wanted to give it a little exrta umph.

Do you have any better photos of yours?

I've gotten it unpacked enough to get to the box of parts and pulled out the manual. According to the manual it will dig about 5.55 ft. (1.85m). There isn't much in the manual and the parts list is wrong. I may grab the camera and take a few photos to post later. Be for warned though the color might make some people sick.
Oh I purchased the unit off ebay for $2100. Even if I have to do some work with the hydraulics I'm still better off. I had my eye on a koyker KB75, but the last time I checked it was about $8000 and that was few years ago.

You & Harold have a better eye for details than I do!

Its from doing those puzzles in the comic pages--2 pictures and you are to name the 6 differences between them. You know like a collar shorter, sleeve rolled up and a picture missing. :D

Wedge go ahead and post some photos. It could not be any worse than the puke green that Ford used on some cars here in Europe.:p

Ok here are some photos. Remember I haven't even unpacked it. If I can get the guy to paint within the next week or two I'm going to leave it just where it is.

The Ford 4000 that I'm putting it on has a very slow pump, I think about 4.5 gpm so even if I did hook it up it wouldn't be a fair test. Beside making sure the thing works.

I have most everything to add a pump to the front of the tractor that runs off the cam shaft. I still need a reservoir and some of the hoses. I have a 14.6 gpm @ 1800 rpm Cessna pump. I'm thinking this should be more that enough to drive the FEL or BH without any problems.

No lets see if I can upload a few files.

That is not a bad blue or is it green, but I would not want to see it next to a ford/New Holland or a John Deere. Yewwwww!! Maybe you just should paint your tractor to match. :D

What size are the cylinders and your system pressure? Actually a 4.5 gallon pump should run a small hoe like that just fine.

Ever see the green that the ps2 connectors are on a computer. Real close match.

What would be a good way to measure the cylinders? Is it just to diameter of the piston?
