Price - Kubota B2782 Blower
My guess is this question has been asked multiple times, so please have some patience with me...
An individual is selling a Kubota B2782 (63 inch) front mount blower with the optional hydraulic chute rotor. I would mount the unit onto my B2910 tractor. The unit has been used a total of 4 times.
The seller is asking $3,700. If it is as good condition as the seller claims (I haven't seen it yet) what, in your opinion(s) would be a fair offer?
Thanks for your insight.

The blower list for over $5000. If every thing is included (mid-mount, valves, hoses, etc) I would make an offer closer to $2700. then work up. Hard to tell if guy needs money or not in a hurry to sell.

Re: Price - Kubota B2782 Blower
I bought this same set-up this spring for our new B3030HSDC. Don't have the exact price, but I recall when shopping the dealer saying it was about $4500 for the package. There's the snowblower, chute kit, rotator kit, quick hitch, mid=PTO driveshaft kit, etc. And you'll need a loader valve if you don't have one-pricey item! I see in the insturctions the B2910 is listed so it will surely fit your tractor. Just put it on the tractor for the first time last week-pretty easy. Hang the quick hitch on the tractor bumper, step down on the nose, and tighten the T-bolt,hook up two hoses-then drive into the blower receiver, throw the latch, hookup two more hoses. I feel that unit with the hydraulic roration is about as desireable as you could put on your tractor. Just don't know what to tell you on the price, but you'll love it!

I just got that blower for my B7800 in September. I didn't get the hydraulic rotater option though. My blower/quick hitch kit was $3500. HTH.

Iceman
Was the $3,500 price for a new or used blower? What would you guess is the value of the optional rotator?

The seller may not come down much on that price. I paid close to $4400. for my 2782 w/hydraulic chute rotator back in fall of 2005. Front blowers are very expensive, i had a 50" front mount (Kubota) on my B7500, it was a nice little unit, still running well after 8 years!

That's for a brand spankin new one. I can't remember now what they told me on the hydraulic rotater option( IIRC it was $800?). Originally I was told the $3500 included the hydraulic option, but when I actually ordered it the story changed. Not that big of a deal to me. We don't normally get that much snow here, but last winter we got a fair amount of snow. I sure hope we get some snow this winter, I wanna play!!!!!!

If that blower has only been used 4 times, it should be in great condition. That being the case, $3700. is not too bad a price, assuming its the whole deal, soup to nuts! Offer $3000. and see where it goes from there.
