My chipper arrived on Friday, 11-30-07. I received the chipper within a week from Homier Dist. The chipper was in the typical metal crate and it had a vinyl cover of the chipper unit. After taking the chipper out of the crate, I could not believe that the chipper was in such excellent condition. The thing didn't even have a scatch on it. (Until I put them there during assembly).

The instructions from Farm Pro aren't much, but assembly took about 2 hours. I did have trouble with the included bolts and locknuts. The two pieces had different pitch threads. I used retaped the nuts and everything went well.

The weather on Sunday was horrible here in VA, but I couldn't wait, so I chipped a few 4-6 inch limbs. The chipper worked great on my TC 40. It never did put much of a strain on the tractor. I did notice the weight of the chipper on my tractor. After playing in the rain for an hour with the chipper, I put it back in the garage. I didn't have anymore time to spend on it, but I had already read all of the great articles on this site about Jinma Chippers.

My dad is retired, so he decied to drill modify the stock drive system. He added set screws to the drive line to hopefully keep the knuckles from stripping out the inner and outer drive shaft. I hope this will keep the unit working for a while until I can come up with a CV joint. I haven't had any problems, but I noticed that others have had problems after 15-20 hours of operation.

Once again, thanks to all who have posted and given advice about this unit.
