After looking for nearly 6 months for a used Harley Rake, I decided to just go ahead an purchase a new one. I went to a local dealer who sells Woods Equipment, and got a price of nearly $10K for a Woods TPR7200-2 power rake.

The $10K really wasn't quite in my budget. I contacted the regional Paladin sales rep, and he put me in touch with the local Harley Rake dealer who quoted me $6.5K for a T-6 Harley Rake delivered to my location.

I went back to the first dealer and told him the price difference, he said "Here's the Wood's price book - look for yourself." I did, and in fact the Woods' power rake is $9.5K and with shipping that would bring it to $10K.

They seem like the same piece of equipment to me - anyone have any ideas as to why the Woods is $3K more?

6500.00 Sounds like a good price for a Harley rake . They seem to close to the same in my book . I like my Harley it saves alot of work and they have a new power seeder that hooks to the rake . Harley also has a new 7 ft rake that adjust with hydralics it angles and the wheels depth adjust to angle the rake also.

Before you buy check out the FFC model. They're twice the build.
