Hi,

I found a sweet deal on a 3 yr old used Woods RB60 rear blade. Paid about 40% of what the dealer wanted for a new one. Anyway, There are a few areas of rust I want to touch up. Does anyone know where I can get a match of the Woods Orange-yellow color? Is this something they would have at TSC?

Thanks

I don't know but consider using something better than the woods paint.

I have a woods loader on my Kubota. The tractor does not have a garage so sees the weather 24x7x365.

After several years, the Kubota is still bright orange.
The loader is getting milky orange.

I have a similar problem and wish I could find a better quality paint. I have a rake and blade and since Woods often paints other dealer's colors I have thought of switching colors. What do you think of that?
As well, anyone have any idea what a set of Woods decals would cost?

Paint it whatever color you like. We have been using an industrial paint from Imron. It's catalyzed and sets quick, dries rock hard, and stays glossy. Nothing cuts it after it cures. It runs about $50/gal at automotive paint stores.

Do you need a special respirator with a fresh air supply or just a paint respirator for this type of paint?

To answer your original question, I know I have seen Wood's paint at the local Kubota dealership and maybe at TSC as well, but I wouldn't swear to that. I know they had it in spray paint cans and I think they also had larger containers of non-aerosol paint as well.

Good luck and enjoy your purchase.

Thanks for the responses. If I can't find a paint to match the woods paint, I'll just paint it Kubota orange to match the tractor. Its really not in bad shape anyway, I got a great deal for $200. The guy I bought it from purchased it new in 2004. Dealer wanted $500 for a new one. I probably could have done a 6 ft blade but the 5 ft works out ok, as my driveway is not huge (about 140 ft) and the 5 foot blade is the perfect size for the walkways as well.

Here is a couple pics from today, we got about 15" of snow here in Lyman, Maine.
