Well, I've had the tractor (NH 1920) with a loader and Backhoe but like you folks, I want more. And I need it so I don't have to justify to the boss! So here's the deal. Local guy here, selling the following:

5' V Shape Heavy Disc
6' Gannon Box w/ Rippers
5' Bush Hog
12" Post Hole Digger
Boom
Spring Fork Renovator
Adjustable Tooth Harrow

This is how it's listed. I'm going to look at this stuff tomorrow (Sat) AM and he want's $2,500 for all of this. Say's the implements are in good shape, well maintained and were used on a Ford 800 series tractor. I think this is a pretty good deal depending on the actual shape of the equipment.

What I need to know is: My 1920 is rated at about 33 HP, Std. Tranny and 4x4 and I'm only concerned with the 6' size on the Gannon. From everything I've read on TBN, the 1920 should handle all others easily. I could I suppose sell the Gannon if it turns out to be a bit big. So, is this is a good deal if the equipment is in decently maintained condition? What should I look for in terms of wear and tear that I can check out when I go look at it? Any help would be great. Happy Easter.

Re your concerns on Gannon 6 Ft. Box Blade. I have a NH1320 4WD Hyd and I use a 66 inch King Kutter Box Blade with rippers with no problems. Your 1920 should be plenty.

Yes, I agree with the first answer... Your 1920 should do find with a 6" box blade... My L2850 (should be comparable to the 1920) handles a 6" box blade nicely.

My neighbor uses a 6' Gannon on his 1920

Unless this equipment is fairly new or in outstanding condition that price sounds high. Personally I would be looking for it closer to $1500.

I agree with Pete. Those prices are way too high. You could just about get all that stuff new for those prices.

Thanks guy's for the feedback. After going to look at the stuff, it appears that my gut instinct was working that morning. I offered $1,400 for the lot and haven't heard back yet and don't expect too. They felt they could get more if they pieced it off. Oh well - Gotta wait for the gear.

I have a 1920 NH, and the dealer told me that it would handle a 6' brush mower fine..... I can't see a 6' box blade giving it any more trouble than that.... no pto strain either.

I just did some internet pricing on that stuff... not counting the exact brand names... that stuff is worth like 23-2400 new
