JD 4310
I am a brand new owner of a used JD4310 4W HSD front loader. I bought it thru a dealer for $17,000 with loaded tires, a bearcat 540 PTO Chipper/Shredder and ballast box. Machine has only 90 hours on it.
I have 10 acres of woods and stone walls to play with and want to put a backhoe attachment on the machine.
The JD dealer quoted me about $7,500 for the JD75(?) complete installed with mounting bracket kit, and quick disconnect. I found an equipment dealer online advertising a self contained Taylor-Way Model 766 new with PTO hydraulic pump that looks like it is comparable to the JD or Woods 7500 for about half the price. I could really use some expert guidance on which way to go to augment my (new to me) machine with a Backhoe for stumping and rock rolling. I have zero experience with this equipment to draw on.

Check the specs on each. I think the Taylor Way 766 is maxed out at 6'6" depth while the other go to 7'6". The Taylor Way is also 3pt only. You'd be on your own, if you want to fab up a subframe.
