The correct url is :

http://www.his.com/~msimpson/tractor/hacker/trweight.htm

When I sent the pictures and directions to Mike for him to post, I did not realize how often this page would get referenced here and at other message boards. It seem that quite a few people have made these weights after looking at the photos.

I have also seen some posts from others that have made the weight lifting weight wheel weights like the ones I made for my B2400. I have pictures and a description of them on the same site.

I am glad it has helped.

You can make a nice counter weight cheaply with a 55 gal metal drum two 3pt pins a top link attachment, and some concrete. Just cut the drum in half ( or what ever size you need ) and drill holes in the drum at a height your tractor can easily attach to and pick up. Drill the holes 180 degrees across from each other. Then use rebar or a metal top link attachment and make a point to attach the 3rd link. Fill the drum with concrete until you have the weight that you need. You can add weight if needed. The drum will stay close in behind your tractor and does not stick out on the sides. You will almost forget it is back there, and if it does get torn up you are not out much
